2018 Pinot Noir, Bush Crispo Vineyard

Sold Out
One of our larger single-vineyard bottlings, the wine is assembled much like a cuvee, having been deconstructed into four different lots at harvest. An older block of clone 115, planted in 1998, was fermented fully destemmed whereas a younger block of Pommard clone, planted in 2008, was fermented between 10-20% whole cluster.
The older vines bring to the nose black currant and açai berry complementing the other aromas of anise, lavender and Asian five spice. There is inherent depth and density on the palate with precise tannin and lifting acid.
