2019 Cabernet Sauvignon, Cellar Note

The exploration for compelling Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon brought us to the well-known Kick Ranch, nestled on the western foothills of Spring Mountain in the newly formed Fountaingrove District.

2019 was a beautiful growing season, with a healthy crop, a long growing season with deliciously concentrated fruit while maintaining our desired acidity and structure. On the nose the wine shows chocolate ganache, cigar wrapper and a touch of anise and crème de cassis. On the palate inviting freshness drives toward a clean, full-bodied wine with well-woven tannins that build to a long, satisfying finish.
