2019 Pinot Noir, Silver Eagle Vineyard
The property lies in what is often referred to as the banana-belt of the Green Valley where nighttime temperatures often drop below 50 degrees at night, yet days are often met with consistently brilliant sunny days.
The 2019 opens with great purity of fruit on the nose with red currants and raspberry. Incredibly compelling, the wine continues to evolve even after minutes of being opened, showing off darker notes and layers of richness. On the palate, the wine is precise, clean, and attractive. Driven by a beautiful growing season, the mouthfeel is lifted, bright, and balanced with plenty of richness that is often associated with this vineyard.
This breath-taking wine is limited with only 211 cases produced. A brilliant wine from the 2019 vintage, the wine will certainly be a sensation in its youth, however with plenty of texture and brightness on the palate, there is plenty of life to be enjoyed over the next decade and beyond.
