The heart of this wine originates from Wente plantings on West Side Road, where warm days and foggy mornings contribute both richness and freshness to the blend.
As we refine Cellar Note Chardonnay, we remain committed to understanding and accentuating what makes this blend unique. Emphasizing a fruit-forward core with aromas of white flowers and stone fruit, the wine offers a slightly weightier mouthfeel complemented by fresh guava and tropical notes on the palate.
A refreshing aspect of the wine is enhanced by Clone 4 sourced from a vineyard west of Sebastopol, which extends the palate and adds focus to the aromatic clones in the cuvée.
