2011 Sparkling Brut Rose, Ram's Gate Estate

Winemaking Notes

100% Pinot Noir aged 60 months on tirage before riddling, disgorgement and bottling. 100 cases made.

A delicate, rose-gold color due to extended skin contact during fermentation, the 2011 Brut Rosé features fresh strawberry, white peach, rose petal and toasted grain aromas, which open over time in the glass and build with complexity. Five years of tirage followed by six months in bottle contribute to the rich palate, balancing autolytic (lees-driven) characters with zippy acidity.
