Tasting Notes

True to the legacy that this acclaimed Sonoma Coast vineyard perennially repeats, the nose beings with ripened peach, exotic tropical fruits and perfumed hibiscus aromas. On the palate, a full, lush body features preserved lemon blossom and golden apple balanced by the saline minerality characterized by the site’s signature siliceous soil. A delicate cinnamon-flavored whipped cream character drives through a lengthy finish, accented by nutmeg and clove. Balanced winemaking with extra tight grain French oak, natural acidity and sur lie aging incorporate into this wine with ease, showing off the definition of integration and the pleasure of working with such legendary fruit.
