Tasting Notes

Our 2013 Bush Crispo Pinot Noir maintains its consistent qualities of bay and eucalyptus along with healthy tones of dark cherry, blueberry and plum. The ‘13 vintage highlighted an earthy quality in this wine, contributing to the complexity which will grow to be a signature of Pinot Noirs from this vintage. Aromas to follow include fresh black cherry, clove and hints of brown spice. The palate begins with earthy, blackberry marmalade and powdered dark chocolate, which coat the mouth through the long finish of cinnamon and nutmeg. The 2013 Bush Crispo Pinot Noir is just beginning to show its deep complexity and richness, promising years of great drinking ahead.
